This August, we have sold our little log house and bought a nice little farm just down the road near Peachland, NC. The horses love it here. They have nice pastures with shade trees and even a pond to cool off in. I now have 7 little goats. Belle, the original Pygmy doe that is now 6 years old, Bellina, Maybelline, Isabelle and Cristabelle, all young does, Nobell, a wether, and Bello, the buck. We should be having babies come this December. We still have the 3-1/2 horses, (3 big horses and one mini), and 2 cats. Our enjoyment is going camping with our horses, riding the mountains and forests, and, most evenings, you will find us just sitting in the barn playing with the animals. I also love teaching people about driving horses.
Our long-term dream is to have our own "Bunk and Chow." That's our cowboy version of a Bed and Breakfast. An overnight rest stop for travelers and their horses, as well as guided trail riding with complete hook-ups for RV horse campers.
Please check out the rest of the site starting with Horse Driving information and photos of horses and their owners that I have trained. Continue on with more photos of our animals and home. Enjoy!
